The Delhi Launch
We launched on March 7 of this year, online and with our first store in Mumbai’s Kala Ghoda, but we brought the party home to Delhi with a launch right here at our Garden Studio earlier this month.
There’s nothing quite like celebrating with all your nearest and dearest (seriously, all, the turnout was amazing, thank you to those who came), and we’re sort of grateful that it pushed us to transform our grounds (which were already pretty great, we’ll admit) into a lush island paradise. All we need now is a few thousand gallons of seawater.
We had a show, so guests could see our clothes in motion, with models walking down a specially-built ramp that wound around the venue, and culminated with a sit down at a table laden with our homeware. Thanks to Gaurav Raina, who soundtracked the evening, first with a jazz ensemble fronted by Kavya Trehan and ably assisted by Stefan Kaye, and then with a DJ set.
Our top takeaways? Those super Grey Goose cocktails (Summer Garden, I’m looking at you), the nibbles from CAARA that, in a nod to our own inspiration board, were also inspired by journeys around the Indian Ocean, and that we’d gladly have a second round of, and those who came. Next stop: the Delhi store launch.
